Citrus is available with academic pricing for use by students, faculty, or staff. Citrus Academic has the same features as the professional version of Citrus, but is priced at a level that is compatible with academic budgets.
Before purchasing a Citrus™ Academic license, please verify the academic status of the person for whom you are purchasing the license. Citrus Academic is available for use by current students, faculty, or staff. Faculty and staff includes teachers, researchers, librarians, or others employed by a school. You must be a student, faculty, or staff, but there is no requirement that you be a law student or law school faculty member. For example, you may be in a paralegal program or even just taking a class as part of a program unrelated to law. There is also no requirement that you be full-time. You are eligible for a Citrus Academic license during the time in which you are a student or faculty member, and for up to one year after your student or faculty status ends or is suspended. Finally, there is no requirement that you are solely a student. For example, a practicing lawyer enrolled in an L.L.M. program is eligible for a Citrus Academic license.
Your status as a student or faculty member is part of the basis of the bargain and falsely representing your academic status can expose you to adverse consequences including legal action and professional sanctions.
